We are a predominantly gay badminton club based in West London. We are a both a social and a competitive club. Whether you want to play for fun, or try out for our teams, you will be welcome.

We welcome all standard of players from beginners through to league players. We play on 6 courts at Kensington Leisure Centre every Sunday from 3 till 6 PM. We will typically play doubles games to ensure all players get good court time.

Players are graded according to ability. Grades are Green, Red, Yellow, Blue and Black - roughly equivalent to the widely recognised grades of C-, C+, B-, B+ and A. A peg board system is in place for fair selection of matches. Whoever is selecting the matches can choose to play within their own grade, or one grade above or below (e.g. a red player can choose to play all red games, or red/green games or red/yellow games). A 'promotion' system is in place for those players actively improving their game and who wish to try for a higher colour.

 

Coaching is provided free for 1 hour each sunday. This is provided by the senior players in the club and is there for all members who wish to improve their game.
